"Hey, you are growing, developing and maturing everyday so keep up the good work. You are taking risks and exploring new territory so remember, stay focused and positive. Don't allow the distractions of the world to change your way of living and responding to life's challenges. Connect with the people, places and things that build you up as a young leader and model the right principles for a productive and successful life. Reject the desire to be angry, violent, fearful, jealous, anxious or worried in life's circumstances. Embrace the opportunities to grow, heal, develop, explore, love, connect and impact. Make sure you establish and maintain healthy connections with men providing mentoring support to lead you on the right path. Also, don't forget the younger men that have gone or going through a similar story like yours; they need to hear your story and see your transformed life to maintain hope to get to where you are."
Message To The Young Man, Ages 18-26:
Young Men Accepting, Applying & Achieving God's Expectations 18-26 (YMAAAGE)
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV)
This is a 3 step process towards a victorious posture for Young Men because, in case you didn't know, BEING A YOUNG MAN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18-26 IS NOT EASY! First, you have to accept what God says about you as a Young Man. You then have to start applying the expectations God has of you, in your daily choices, with the confidence and hope that you will achieve the goal because of your obedience. You don't have to look like everyone else or do what everyone else is doing; it is okay that you are different and have uniqueness to your posture. This group is where young men are encouraged to love and see themselves the way God does and embrace and conquer the challenges of life. Young men are also taught what balance looks like in their mental, social, physical, spiritual and emotional experiences. Young men are taught to be leaders and the importance of their roles and positions in different dynamics. Some of the Transformation Conversations, exercises and tools include: discovering distractions & temptations, life balance, people pleasing, spending time with God, emotions, the power of prayer, guarding your heart, staying focused, traumas, childhood experiences, building stable and healthy relationships, the mental battle, independence versus dependence, social media influences, obedience, being aware, making wise decisions, peer pressure, responsibilities, positive influences, vulnerability, the myths of a young man, self-worth, self-love, confidence, worry, doubt, fear, insecurities, lies and deception, male examples and so much more! The Transformation Conversations (TC), exercises and tools are designed to evangelize, equip, encourage and empower young men to lead and influence the way God intended!
